Keeping Score
Points are scored according to where on the body the opponent is struck. Striking any area outside of the scoring zones is Illegal. Jousters earn an additional 1 point for lance breakage.
Marshal of the Field
Per Estein Prøis-Røhjell
Known simply as Pelle, he was the Individual Tournament Champion in 2016. Still competing at the highest level as recently as the 2023 Champion of Champions at Arundel he stands alone as the only figure to have claimed all four major prizes. Equal parts tactician and competitor, Pelle leads from the front: precise, composed, and impossible to overlook when the stakes are high.
Compère for the tournament
Nigel Amos
Nigel is a professional historical events performer and has been involved in cavalry re-enactment for 25 years commanding one of the squadrons of cavalry at the annual Battle of Hastings event.
The Knight of Mercy
Mark Caple
Mark (who last competed at Arundel in 2025) rides alongside the Marshal of the Field and would take the place of an injured competitor, scoring only for their team and not individual points.
