Rainy days, sunny days, there is always something for everyone to enjoy at Arundel Castle...
Medieval Festivals, History Days, Characters from History and a Festival of History provide excitement throughout the season.
During April the Castle gardens and grounds provide the beautiful setting for one of the largest displays of tulips in the country.
Or visit in late July to witness six days of International Medieval Jousting together with a large medieval encampment. You can also experience Shakespeare in the Castle gardens in August.
Whatever the weather be thrilled by combat, entertained by musicians, amazed by skilled crafts people, learn history, see costumed characters from history, watch demonstrations of cooking & crafts in the tented encampments… something for all the family.
Details are on each event page. The events (except Jousting and Shakespeare) can be accessed with a Castle & Gardens ticket with activities included in the ticket price.
Some activities, Lower Lawns events and Catering are subject to change and weather. Have ago Archery is for over 8’s and height restrictions may apply. All other have a go activities are for ages 3+
