Terms & Conditions

  1. Before making a purchase, please carefully review your individual selection, and which attractions, events and dates you have purchased for. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded, or returned. Tickets cannot be exchanged or replaced if lost.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking confirmation. You will need your reference number to gain admission.
  3. All major credit and debit cards are accepted (VISA, MasterCard).
  4. On-line purchased tickets are e-confirmations and you will simply need to print your order confirmation or bring it on a smartphone with the reference number to the ticket office who will provide a ticket for admission.
  5. All confidential information, including credit card details are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details will not be shared with any third parties.
  6. All prices are correct at the time of publishing. However, they are subject to change without prior notice.
  7. Children (5-16) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  8. Parties of 20 or more persons constitute a group. Groups can be booked in advance by telephoning 01903 882173 or email visits@arundelcastle.org.
  9. Guests are reminded that for technical or operational reasons some facilities may be removed, closed or entertainment cancelled and/or altered at any time. Arundel Castle Trustees Ltd reserves the right to change the programme of attractions and entertainment if at any time it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so. In the event of bad weather, we will make every effort to complete performances and reserve the right to stop and start the action as necessary. Performances are never cancelled or abandoned before the advertised starting time and then only in the event of very bad weather. Please note that we cannot give refunds for cancellation or abandonment as a result of the weather. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser for reasons other than the weather (in which case the ticket must be returned to the organiser within 21 days of the due performance date).
  10. All guests entering Arundel Castle and Gardens must have a valid entrance ticket.
  11. Arundel Castle Trustees Ltd reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse entry or to remove from Arundel Castle any visitor.
  12. Arundel Castle reserves the right to carry out security searches of bags/carried items/pockets etc of any visitor or to require items not to be brought on to the Castle grounds or into the Castle.
  13. Arundel Castle reserves the right to undertake any actions it deems necessary in order to protect visitors and staff including relating to precautions under The Terrorism (Protection of Premises ) Act 2025.
  14. The booking reference is confirmation of acceptance of the booking.
  15. Arundel Castle Trustees are not responsible for travel arrangements and are not required to refund or transfer tickets if transport is disrupted.
  16. Still photography is allowed for non-commercial private use in the Gardens and Castle. No flash photography inside the buildings. No videoing (including on mobile telephones) is permitted in the Castle. No Wedding photography or pre Wedding photography is allowed in the Gardens or Castle at any time.
  17. Drones (remotely piloted aircraft systems) are not permitted within the Castle grounds or gardens. The wider use of drones is governed by the CAA regulations.
  18. Only Assistance Dogs are permitted into the Castle grounds.
  19. Please note that for conservation reasons and for practical reasons when entering the main Castle building, Prams & Pushchairs need to be left in the ‘buggy park’ on the lower ground floor at the main Duke Henry visitor entrance to the main Castle building.
  20. You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
  21. The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  22. None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

How to book a visit

  • Tickets can be bought on-line and on the day at our ticket office.
  • Please take care and check your visit date is correct before confirming.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with your reference number.
  • If you have COVID-19 symptoms prior to your arrival time, please do not visit.
  • Closed on Mondays, except bank holidays and in August.
