Food & Drink

During your visit to Arundel Castle, you will find the Servants' Hall Café and Fitzalan Coffee Shop in the castle building and in the gardens the Tea Terrace*.

The Servants' Hall Café is our own independent artisanal café which celebrates regional and seasonal foods including Castle made lasagne, gourmet sausage rolls and seasonal soup as well as vegetarian quiche and other locally sourced dishes. Our dishes include castle grown herbs, Norfolk Estate beef and milk together with local produce such as Sussex Charmer cheese. Our lighter lunches include salads which can be matched with protein options and a ploughman’s plate. We also have a small range of vegan and gluten free options so please speak to the team.

Help yourself at the counter to a range of tasty sandwiches, indulgent cakes, the renowned Castle made scones and cooling soft drinks whilst we prepare your tea or coffee using our exclusive Knight’s Blend coffee beans. We also serve Fauna’s Arundel brewed beers.

If you are looking for quick place to stop for a coffee and cake or to grab a sandwich or ice cream to wander the grounds, head to the Fitzalan Coffee Shop just across the hallway from the Servants' Hall Café.

In the gardens you will find our Tea Terrace*, a small hatch in the wall, and some chairs, tables and benches to enjoy a selection of the sandwiches, cakes, ice creams and biscuits from the Castle Café along with a hot or cold drink.

On event days our Knights’ Table will serve delicious foods with a medieval twist and a range of drinks. Please check our 'What's on' page to see the relevant event.

*The Tea Terrace is seasonal and weather dependent and all catering is subject to menu & opening hours variations and availability.

The catering outlets are open to all visitors irrespective of the type of entry ticket purchased.
