Whilst the introduction to the Moat & Rebuilding Castle Tours are accessible by all, visitors are required to be able to take steps down into the moat for the remainder of the tour. Part of the Rebuilding Castle Tour is on gravel and crossed the wooden Drawbridge. The Pilgrim & First Siege Tours are partly on gravel surfaces. Whilst the Civil War Tour does involve steep slopes & steps the History Man is able to suggest an alternative route for those with mobility constraints that is mainly within earshot of the tour. Access to the Fitzalan Chapel is by steep stone steps and there are also some steps within the Chapel. To meet the History Man at the Stew Ponds & Antler Temple access is partly on gravel surfaces.
