The programme is subject to change due to factors including the weather, maintenance and grounds work etc. Details of the day’s tours and starting points will be displayed at the Ticket Office.

Whilst the introduction to the Tour is accessible by all, the Moat Tour does require visitors to be able to take steps down into the moat for the remainder of the tour. The Pilgrim & First Siege Tours are partly on gravel surfaces. Whilst the Civil War Tour does involve steep slopes & steps the History Man is able to suggest an alternative route for those with mobility constraints that is mainly within earshot of the tour. Access to the Fitzalan Chapel is by steep stone steps and there are also some steps within the Chapel. To meet the History Man at the Stew Ponds access is partly on gravel surfaces. Access to the Keep is by over 100 steep stone steps and spiral staircases.
